I find my AX10 to be a bit fast. Yes, I am using the stock 14 T pinion gear and I suppose I could go smaller (to absurd levels). Many would say the speed is nice when you need it... sure, for trailing I can see that. But I have been itching for something in the region of 65 or 70 turns, and Integy's V10 crawler 70S V107001 is one of those fairly affordable motors that catch my attention. BoyzToys are stocking them soon again, and I will at some point obtain one. There is nothing wrong with the 55T in the AX10, it's stunning and cheap and very reliable. It uses bushing and not bearings though, and a fixed endbell. It's not really maintainable and once it dies, it'll be a throw-away replacement (which is ok for the price).
For a few dollars more, the Integy 70S V10 will have maintainability, 70 turns translating into serious torque and super low rpm, adjustable timing and stage 6 wet magnets :)
Well, for fun, I think doing the experiment should be worth the time. Mind you, this will be with the Axial AX10 RTC's stock E.S.C as well.

How much speed will I need? Will my 4.6 Ah stick packs supply it with sufficient current? Will the moon be out tonight?
I will post one day, when that happens and how it happens.
