Stampede: Integy castor blocks and steering knuckles

So a few months ago I started realising that not everything on the chassis/suspension was made for the brute force of brushless. (Im hungry as hell, I hope I get to finish this post before collapsing...). So anyway, I ordered some more stuff from TowerHobbies, because 1. they are fairly prices, 2. local hobby shops doesn't give a shit about hopups, they just want to run us in with stock replacement prices. I got the Integy castor blocks and steering knuckles (and new bearings) for the Stampede. Firstly, I found that minor ding-dongs caused the hardened steel pins(part 3740) (yes, how the hell) to bend out of shape, which also damaged the knuckles.

I haven't had a serious ding yet, so we shall see if the upgrade just moved the weak spot further down the suspension :) Either way, I got new steel pins (R35 for two from Speed Models Bellville). I proceeded to install the new pins, knuckles and blocks and saving the old composite parts in case. I want to add what a hard task it is to get these circlips on again without bending them, please comment on tricks in this regards (sos!).

Nothing more to be said, except that the spacing on the steering linkages changed alot and needed some serious tuning afterwards, but all is well now, so here are photos of the job done. :)

The parts, sort of put together with the stock hex hubs.

The castor blocks installed to the A-arms and ties.

And the complete bottom view with linkages installed and wheel back on. It looks great too! Bonus.
